Careers in law

The University of Alberta will present on the educational requirements and pathway to become a lawyer in Canada. They will also discuss a special bridging program that can help internationally-educated lawyers re-enter their profession as a lawyer in Canada. The Alberta Association of Professional Paralegals will present about the career of paralegal.

This session is perfect for newcomers with legal backgrounds who want to learn how to re-enter their professions in Canada, or pursue a related opportunity. People who want to pursue a new career path in the field of law are also welcome!

What do we do at the Language Assessment Referral and Counselling Centre (LARCC)?

We are a test centre for the Canadian Language Benchmark test. We also offer educational counselling and can refer you to English classes (LINC or ESL), career training programs and other services!
